Organizing Your Lessons
These tools will help you organize visually exciting lessons in a way that makes your life easier! Ideally, you would have plenty of time in the day to create lesson presentations at school, but in reality, teachers are tasked with so many duties and requirements that you often start a project at school, take it home to work on it, bring it back to school to finish up... This means you're having to save partial projects to flash drive and email them back and forth, only to open them up elsewhere and find you saved the wrong items or you don't have the same software to continue working on them. That's what's awesome about these tools. They're web-based, so you can access them anywhere with an internet connection, and pick up right where you left off! They're also simple to add to your Moodle page so students and parents can access all of your notes and resources at home when working on homework, studying, or keeping up during absences. Best of all, it help you stay organized and have all of the videos, instructions, websites, etc. you need all in one place!
Organizing Web Resources
When you're gathering websites to show your students, it's easy to get mixed up about what is saved as a bookmark, what is in a link you emailed to yourself, and what is one you saved in a presentation. These bookmarking sites will allow you to organize and save all of your websites and organize them any way you like - by course, unit, topic, purpose, and so on! These are Web 2.0 Tools, so you can view and edit them from anywhere. Some can also be embedded into presentations, allowing you to keep the websites with your lesson presentations!
